Your First Tandem Skydive — What to Expect
Never been skydiving before? No problem. Plan for approximately 2–3 hours from arrival to landing. The skydive itself (flight + freefall + canopy) takes about 20–25 minutes.
Here’s exactly what your day looks like:
Arrive and Check In (15 minutes)
When you arrive at our facility in McMinnville, our team will greet you, confirm your booking, and get your paperwork started. Bring a government-issued ID (you must be 18+).
Jump Briefing and Gear Up (20 minutes)
Your instructor will walk you through exactly what to expect—body position, the exit, freefall, and landing. You’ll be fitted with a harness and goggles. There’s nothing you need to memorize; your instructor handles everything.
The Flight Up (15 minutes)
