How far is Middle Tennessee Skydiving from Nashville?

We're located in McMinnville, Tennessee, approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes southeast of Nashville via I-24 East. We're also a scenic drive from Murfreesboro (50 minutes), Cookeville (45 minutes), and Chattanooga (1 hour 20 minutes).

How much does tandem skydiving cost in the Nashville area?

Tandem skydiving at Middle Tennessee Skydiving starts at $250 for a jump-only package. Photo and video add-on packages are available from $330 to $370. Group discounts are available for parties of 5 or more.

Do I need skydiving experience to jump?

No experience is needed. Tandem skydiving is designed for first-timers. You'll be securely attached to a licensed instructor who handles all technical aspects of the jump. All you need to do is enjoy the ride.

What are the age and weight requirements?

You must be at least 18 years old with a valid government-issued ID. Weight limits apply based on equipment manufacturer specifications. Contact us for specific requirements.

What should I wear for skydiving?

Wear comfortable, athletic-style clothing appropriate for the weather. Closed-toe shoes are required — sneakers are ideal.

What happens if the weather is bad on my jump day?

Safety comes first. If weather conditions are unsuitable for skydiving, we'll contact you to reschedule at no additional cost. We monitor conditions throughout the day and will work with you to find the next available date.

How long does the whole skydive experience take?

Plan for 2 to 3 hours total from arrival to landing. The aircraft ride to altitude takes about 15 minutes, freefall lasts 30 to 45 seconds, and the canopy ride back down is 5 to 7 minutes.

Can friends and family come watch?

Absolutely. Spectators are welcome at our facility. There's a designated viewing area where your friends and family can watch your landing — a great way to share the experience.

How safe is tandem skydiving?

Tandem skydiving has an excellent safety record. Every tandem skydive is conducted by licensed, experienced instructors with hundreds of jumps. Our equipment is inspected before every jump, and every parachute system includes a main canopy, reserve canopy, and Automatic Activation Device (AAD) as a final backup.

What altitude do you jump from?

All tandem skydives are conducted from 10,000 feet over Middle Tennessee. The aircraft ride to altitude takes about 15 minutes, with breathtaking views of McMinnville's farmland and Tennessee's rolling hills.
